JOE

Living in Hampshire, artist Joe Shaw graduated from UCA Farnham in 2018 with a degree in Fine Art.  The highlight of Joe’s career so far was his solo exhibition at Gilbert White’s House (Selborne) in 2021. 

Joe strives to invent unique ways of creating art, inviting curiosity from the viewer. Joe’s work often stands out due to his love and use of vibrant colours and strong graphic forms.

Joe does not want to be defined by being disabled, but has a desire to use his experience as such to communicate ideas and promote awareness. Life as a disabled artist has shaped Joe’s artwork in unpredictable ways, influencing different methods of expression.
